Answer three quick questions to find out whether your building falls within the Fire Safety (Residential Evacuation Plans) (England) Regulations 2025.
1. Is the building in England?
2. Does the building contain two or more separate dwellings (e.g. flats)?
3. Which best describes the building's height?
Height should be measured from ground level using the same methodology as under the Building Safety Act, not estimated. If you're unsure of your building's exact height, check your building's fire risk assessment or ask your managing agent.
